A lesson plan built around you
Everyone learns to drive in their own way. Some people pick up steering technique straight away; others need more time to get used to traffic situations. That is why at Rijschool Denhaag we start every new student with a trial lesson in which we assess your level, ask about your previous experience and set realistic goals together. This produces a lesson plan that matches exactly where you are right now.
Throughout the course your instructor stays the same person. That brings peace of mind: you do not have to explain your struggles from scratch every lesson, and your instructor knows your strengths and areas for improvement. Experience tells us that this continuity makes the difference between unfocused teaching and purposeful progress towards the exam.
Listening before we teach
Good driving instruction starts with listening. Before we start the engine we ask how your last lesson went, what makes you nervous and what you want to practise today. That way we spend lesson time on what is relevant to you — not on a standard checklist. Afterwards you receive clear feedback, recorded progress notes and a plan for next time.
This personal approach works for all types of learners: beginners starting from scratch, retake students who were previously at another school, or people who want to get back behind the wheel after years away. We adapt to you — not the other way round.
