How an intensive course works

An intensive course consists of multiple lesson blocks per day, typically spread across three-hour sessions. There are breaks between blocks — concentration matters more than sheer total hours behind the wheel. A typical week starts with basic technique and builds up towards an interim assessment (TTT), followed by the practical exam. Depending on your prior knowledge and learning pace, 5 to 8 days is a realistic target.

Before we start we carry out a thorough assessment of your current level. We don't teach theory ourselves — your theory certificate must therefore be obtained elsewhere before the practical exam. If you have never driven before, we add one or two extra foundation days. Being honest about what is achievable prevents disappointment and unnecessary costs.

Who is an intensive course right for

An intensive course suits people who want to move quickly: a job that requires a licence starting soon, a relocation, or simply no desire to spread the process over months. You do need to be able to block off a full week and handle pressure well — the intensity demands concentration. In return you get a fast turnaround, priority exam scheduling at the CBR and a compact learning experience where new skills follow one another in quick succession.

We schedule the CBR exam for the final day of the course so that everything is fresh in your memory. The pass rate for our intensive course students is the same as for our regular students — proof that intensive learning works, provided the guidance is right.
